I am so sick of store bought dressings! They love to use soy (most of which is GMO) and what’s with the MSG??? I poked around on the internet today and found this raspberry dressing recipe. Super easy. The recipe calls for 1/2 cup of raspberries, but who are we kidding here?!? It’s raspberry dressing! I upped it to 2 cups. Yeah baby! It was delish.
Raging Raspberry Dressing
• ¾ cup olive oil (first cold press)
• ¼ cup apple cider vinegar (with mother)
• 1 teaspoon sea salt
• 2 tablespoon honey (raw unrefined)
• 1 teaspoon dried basil
• 2 cups fresh red raspberries
• ¼ cup water
Mix the ingredients in a blender to desired consistency. I recommend you give it a good mix, or your salad is going to taste like you dropped it on the beach and chunked it back in the bowl! Got to grind up those seeds haha Live and learn!
It was a beautiful day today in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina! We are so happy to have a Vitamix again! I’m KNOW these smoothies are going to help me shed the extra weight I have gained in the last few months working on all these websites!
I’m looking forward to the extra energy I get from consuming more fresh fruits and leafy greens. I decided to do a quick video of me making one of our delicious smoothies.
These days, I don’t have the attention span that I once used to, and I’m finding that I prefer watching unedited videos that are brief and to the point. So, that’s what I’m going to be posting for now. I hope you enjoy…cheers!
My family is addicted to Mexican cuisine. One of our favorites is salsa. But all salsas are not created equal! Several years ago, I came across this great recipe for raw salsa and I’ve been making the same recipe ever since. This recipe is a family favorite and it’s bursting with flavor and nutrients! If you love salsa as much as we do, I beg you to try this simple recipe.
4 tomatoes, chopped
2 cloves garlic
1 Tablespoon cider vinegar
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 Tablespoon lime juice
1/4 cup parsley (optional)
1/2 cup cilantro
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt
Place the lime juice, cilantro, parsley, garlic, cider vinegar, olive oil, cumin and sea salt in a food processor and blend until well mixed. This can be done without a food processor, it just takes a little more work. Add in the tomatoes and pulse chop until everything is diced and blended. Enjoy!
